Electronic Fly Killers and Flyscreens

Electronic fly killers are a great hygienic & efficient way to control many types of flying insect wherever they cause problems. We supply & service a great variety of machines from PestWest who we think offer the best value machines. All fly killers operate on the principal that the majority of flying insects (but not all!) are attracted to ultra violet light. The UV emitted by the tubes is invisible to the human eye and the “blue” light we see is there as a reference for us. Once attracted the flies are controlled with either traditional “zapper” style machines which use a “live” grid to kill the flies or modern “sticky board” units that have a sticky board that traps the flies. Both have their advantages depending on your own requirements. We can carry out a free survey of your site to help you choose the correct unit for you.
